VEX Robotics is a worldwide program which challenges students to expand their critical thinking and problem solving skills through building, programming, and driving a robot to meet a challenge that changes each year. The VEX Robotics World Championship is the largest competitive robotics event in the world. The VEX IQ system is a tool-less product line designed to allow students in elementary and middle school to design and build a robot all on their own.
Science Olympiad is an international, organization devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science, and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by students in grades 3-12. The goal of Science Olympiad is to expand the quality of science education through competitions comparable to sporting events.
FIRST® LEGO® League is a program that introduces Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to children 4 and up through a variety of interactive and fun hands-on learning. There are three divisions to help students apply STEM-based concepts at an age-appropriate level, which allow them to experiment and to grow in their understanding. Various competitions, or Challenges, exist throughout the year that participating students can be a part of.
On this team, students will explore and deepen their knowledge of math concepts and skills. State and national competitions exists for students to qualify for and participate in. Students can also be also invited to compete in other tournaments such as Math Olympiad (MOEMS) and the Noetics Math Competition.

Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an extra-curricular activity in which students in grades 7-12 typically roleplay as delegates to the United Nations and simulate UN committees. This activity takes place at MUN conferences, which is usually organized by a high school or college MUN club.
Orlando Science System Schools Performing Arts Department offers Band, Choir, Musical Theater, and The Stingray Sound - An elementary music performance opportunity that involves students playing recorder, mallet instruments, percussion, and uniquely created instruments! Students in these clubs perform at a Winter and a Spring Concert.
